Cortado Flight Mode - No more cut-off emails
SUMMER SPECIAL! Free for a limited time only!
Have you been looking for a safe, quick solution to read your e-mails in full length during flights so you can effectively use the time to work? It's a dilemma that most frequent flyers face. Flight Mode, Cortado's easy-to-use airplane or offline mode application, solves the problem! One click closes all of the BlackBerry smartphone's wireless connections, but not before incomplete e-mails are downloaded from the mail server. Now, you can comfortably read and answer e-mails after take-off with Flight Mode on your BlackBerry smartphone.
How it works
- Click on the Flight Mode icon on your BlackBerry before take-off.
- Flight Mode will start downloading incomplete e-mail content ? either from the last 24 hours or all remaining incomplete messages, depending on your settings. Note: Flight Mode will not automatically download e-mail attachments!
- Once the countdown is complete (default: 60 seconds), all wireless connections are disconnected and the device will be switched off.
- Turn on your BlackBerry again once you?re airborne, and all wireless connections will remain deactivated - indicated by the now green Flight Mode icon. Simply click the Flight Mode icon again to reestablish the connections after landing.
Settings
- Requirements: BlackBerry OS 4.3 or higher.
- To set the application?s settings to your individual preferences, please select OPTIONS > FLIGHT MODE.
- Deactivate the 24-hour limit on e-mails to be downloaded and set the "Countdown Time" for downloading e-mails after clicking the Flight Mode icon before all connection are switched off.
- Save your changes selecting MENU > SAVE.
- Please restart your device after the installation.
