Cortado Basic Print allows you to print photos and images saved on your BlackBerry on the nearest printer in no time at all. You can also use Cortado Basic Print to easily put your e-mails, appointments, contacts, tasks, and memos on paper at any time. Using Bluetooth, the print job is transmitted from your smartphone directly to a Bluetooth-capable printer. PLEASE NOTE: Basic Print has no application icon. It adds a print option to the menu of the supported BlackBerry apps.

• Supported printers for printing text files: all Bluetooth-capable printers or Bluetooth printer adapters that support direct text printing

Supported Devices / Requirements

BlackBerry smartphones

• Requirements: BlackBerry OS 4.7 - 5.0, for example: BlackBerry Pearl Storm and other.

Printing photos & images

• Images must be saved locally in the media application
• Supported image formats: JPG, GIF, PNG
• Printer requires OBEX support (photo printer), for example, HP DeskJet 450 and 460, HP OfficeJet 470
• If a Bluetooth adapter is used, it must also support OBEX, for example, MPI printer adapter

Printing text files

• Supported text formats: TXT, VCS, VCF; for example, e-mails, appointments, contacts, tasks, notes, memos
• All Bluetooth-capable printers that support direct text output are supported as well as HP DeskJet 460 and all Pentax printers

TIP: If a printer does not have an integrated Bluetooth interface, Bluetooth capability may still be achieved via USB or LPT using a Bluetooth printer adapter.
